When I decided to come to Delhi To pursue journalism,to make a change,I never knew that I would end up just like others.. A Job seeker.
No body is willing to give a chance to anyone for their talent ,rather their experience on papers matter the most. Every News channel uses you as a Labour whose job is to do what he/she will be told to do. Well journalism is the backbone of any democracy, However News channels have the liberty to Use their freedom of expression for Doing anything and everything.A news without facts is like food without taste.No one nowadays cares about Content anymore.Its all about TRP,Yes that’s what Corporate pressure does to you.
People come to Delhi NCR from all parts of country in order to Be part of a change ,they want to make a name for them but they end up being just a tool of business model called News channels.
I have given many interviews so far ,and have always got a great initial response but later they always hire someone Who has been referred.Human resource teams of these News channels are doing a great job in allowing this referral Thing go On .
Some freshers are called interns here ,who are used by Experienced people for their personal Job assignments.
These interns get paid Nothing or something which is worth noting at the end of the day.They are given experience letters but Not permanent jobs .
Can Someone be there who will Understand the real need of the hour and will try to bring in the CHANGE…
Those journalists who wanted to bring a change are facing a lot of trouble for true journalistic values .we have names like
Ravish kumar,Abhisar Sharma,Ajit Anjum,Punya prasun bajpai.etc etc..The list goes on every single day.
Hope to see some light In this dark phase of Journalism…Soon.
