Zahid khan/ Trp News Report..27/1/2021.

78 years old Dalmiya bharat group is the current owner of Red fort (LalQila) of delhi. They have paid 25Cr to the govt of India For leasing Red fort for five years .
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Dalmia Bharat Limited, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Culture and the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) on April 9, even though the Ministry of Tourism went public with the deal on April 25, 2018.The Dalmia Bharat group beat IndiGo Airlines and GMR group to bag the contract under Modi government’s ‘Adopt A Heritage’ scheme. Now if farmer’s while protesting barged into this private property,Why shouldn’t Dalmiya group be blamed for this. Govt should Understand that Giving a heritage to a private company doesn’t ensure that security and maintenance of this place would be taken care.
Govt needs to make sure that this “Adopt A heritage ” scheme should be Immediately Cancelled and all other Heritages should be saved.
Farmers protest has just given us a glimpse of what can happen to other places. These historic monuments deserve protection and maintenance .
Today it was famers, tomorrow it could be any other group.
It’s better to Act quick than wait for something wrong to happen.
