J&K | Three terrorists were intercepted by Indian Army and J&K Police on the Line of Control in the Poonch Sector while attempting to cross the fence.
Three terrorists were apprehended and some weapons, war-like stores including one IED and Narco were recovered. One Indian Army soldier was injured in the ensuing firing and has been evacuated.Around 10 kg of IED has been recovered from terrorists intercepted by the Indian Army and J&K Police while trying to cross the fence along the LoC in the Poonch sector today.The recoveries from the terrorists include one AK-56 Rifle with 10 rounds in the magazine(the rest ammunition has been fired by the terrorist who is subsequently injured). Two pistols with two magazines and 70 rounds. One IED of approx 10-12 kg. 6 Chinese Grenades and 20 packets of narcotics: PRO Defence.
